Gmail accounts are currently being passed out through invitation only by other gmail account holders. If I get one, I'll send it to you. Apparently, they're hot stuff on ebay. But I heard the bottom fell out when Yahoo started offering the free 100MB.

They are offering free 100 Meg accounts to everyone?!? That message they sent me made me sound like I was specal. :(

I'm going to cry now... or work on the CCG I havn't decided yet...

After about 2 weeks without internet access I came back to check my yahoo account today and low and behold... 100 MB. I would assume that new signees get it as well

gmail? is that the google mail thing?? even though yahoo upped their allowance, aren't google offering like a gig of space?? who'd wanna pass that up for a measly 100mb.

Yep, it is Google mail and they are offering 1 GB of space. Plus email size can be up to 10 MB which Yahoo is now offering as well.

I guess the point of signing on now is so you'll be able to reserve the name you want.

I still have 2 invites to send out if anyone wants one.

The thing about Gmail is that they scan your e-mails so they can place ads next to the e-mail that have to do with the content.

Though, that may be just a minor setback for the gig of space...
