Spike, all the way. No questions asked.

But as a close second, I'd have to say Cordelia (never thought I'd be saying that a few seasons ago ). Out of all the characters in the Buffyverse, you witness some of the most change with her character.

As far as the other characters go, I'd have to say Wesley (once again, never thought I'd be saying that), Oz, and Tara.

Oh, and can't forget Giles. He makes librarians look sexy.

I was first drawn into the show because of Giles,
and for a while my favorite was Willow,
and I belonged to fan boards for Spike....
but in the end I have to say that my favorite was Buffy herself.

It was Willow for the longest time, but for some reason Dawn stole my heart towards the end. I have no idea why, since I think unfortunately we never got to see most of what was planned for her, but I really grew to love that character.

I also loved Xander. In every way possible Of the non-core characters, Tara was my favourite.

I have to mention that I loved Buffy herself, and her development throughout the show. For some reason we always seem to forget about her!

Can we pick more than one character?

1. Spike because his character was so dynamic.

2. Willow because her character really grew more than the others from season 1 to 7.

3. Anya because her character was built up from the ground floor at a rapid pace, and she was so funny that you had to love her.

4. Dawn because towards the end she turned out to be such a good character compared when the writers 1st brought her into the BtVS world.

It's a close tie between Xander and Willow. I wish these two will get to make a movie together. It will be fun to watch.

After that we get into the characters I kind of like, ones who have their moments, and then the ones I don't much care about. I probably thought about this too much.

The Buffs for sure.........SMG was perfect for the role.

I would have to say Spike. He was a great character making him a major character in Buffy and then bringing him back in Angel was one of the best decisions they ever made.
