This is my latest project- making my 70's Flying Sub model more exact.

The windows on my Aurora model are surrounded by a "bulge" that was not on the real sub( in silver here)- I intend to fix it.

Also, the hatches were round, not including the "latches" shown here:

I intend to fix that also.

We exist! I am working on plans for a steam punk air ship out of Space 1889/Soldiers Companion. It is patterned after the gun boat HMS Melik.

Though not a "model" per se (only a very little assembly & painting is required), this is my favourite...

I used to build models. Did plenty of the Star Trek and Star Wars kits.

Then for a while when I was scratch building model fire trucks. Kind of a niche but since i was a firefighter at the time it kinda fit.

Then I got into 3D modeling aircraft for Microsoft Flight Sim 2000/2002/2004

That got really addicting. I'm still not one hundred percent cured of that since I still occasionally drag out the modeling program to make stuff to go with my fanfiction...

And the stuff I used to make for Flight Sim...

I use to build models back when I was in high school and had fre time (and a workshop). Now that I'm an overworked apartment-dweller, those days appear to be over.

Though, when the weather warms enough to leave my windows open, I do plan to take a paint brush to some of my Transformers figures (Hasbro has to pay for every individual paint app they put on a toy, so we often end up with great molded-in detail that needs a few coats of paint to actually look like. . . not molded-in detail).
