Just wanted to let you all know that FFF.NET is now running on new servers. Sometimes old software and new servers don't play nice together. If you run into any weirdness on the site, please let me know.

With that out of the way, I can now continue work on FFF.NET 2.0. Will keep you all posted.

I noticed something flaky going on this afternoon around 3pm CST. That was on a WinDoze™ machine. It's done it a few times this evening as well, on my Mac. Next time it does it, I'll grab the full text for ya, if that will help run it down.

Might not even be the servers, but that's for bigger brains than mine to figure out...

That's when I started moving things over to the new server. It was supposed to take only 5 minutes for each phase and downtime was supposed to be minimal.

Just posted on a thread. It was successful but instead of shooting me back to the thread it said there was some kind of error. My post went up fine though.

edit: replying to this thread worked fine, the one that went weird was when I responded to the thread "suck that down your gravity well"

Still, though... The site IS up and running, which is a far sight better than I've seen many of these kind of switchovers go. Good work as always, Haken! A couple minor issues, which I've no doubt you WILL get worked out in the next few days.

Haven't had any errors on notifications, but I turn off the 'notify me' option pretty much every time I post.

I've been having to re-login a lot. Almost every time I post.

Couldn't get to the site for awhile earlier tonight, got some kind of "Bad host name" error, though I could view the beta site. Glad to see it again

I've been getting that error message every time I've tried to update my profile for months. Although, everything has ultimately gone through except the change of my avatar to 'none' or indeed anything else (I've also tried to change it to the ship, or check the 'custom' option)
