Sorry to vent here, but I'm just pissed off.
I cannot abide cruelty. Sometimes I wish we really could hire the BDH to hunt down whomever did this. I know Mal would sure have an "interesting talk" with whomever did this to the little guy. Six months old and already ruined.

How is your house hunting coming along? Any new prospects?
I am reading a YA novel called "The Knife of Never Letting Go" which has a setting, and rustic, backwater, rimworld dialog straight out of FF. These characters could live on Whitefall. Excellent book so far.

Yay goodbooks!
My hands smell like Dial, which is a vast improvement over eau de dogfish. (Bleah.)
Survived a quiz I'd forgotten about this morning in class due to panicking over the lamprey practical, the lamprey practical, and the dogfish lab I wasn't expecting AFTER the lamprey practical. All in all my day rates an "oy".
I need another fourteen hours this weekend. I will not get them. I did it to myself (dumbass) by signing up for a two-day course in Wilderness First Aid. This will take up roughly sixteen hours. This leaves me with from now until bedtime tonight (call it three and a half to four hours, though mentally I'm limping already) to get work done. Then from 6pm to about 10pm Sat and Sun for whatever I don't get done tonight. Math homework, Chemistry Lab report, study chemistry, study math, study CVA, Chem review from last semester to play catchup. Then there's stuff around the house, spending time with Doctroid and Boychild, sleeping, eating, cooking and (HA!) relaxing. I should probably slip at least one shower in there somewhere. At least I had the foresight to prep Monday's lecture yesterday.
Fourteen should do nicely. I'm not even being greedy about it and requesting the two hours' difference from the class. It's useful stuff that I should learn so I NEVER HAVE TO USE IT. I will not allow myself to regret taking this course.
Unless it's totally bogus and a waste of time in which case I will complain bitterly for YEARS to anyone who will listen and a few who won't.
Need. Beer.
