Now TV Guide has an article on it, but they link to http://www.tvline.com/2011/05/breaking-chuck-spies-season-5-pickup/

That site is apparently new, started by Michael Ausiello, once a columnist for TV Guide and then Entertainment Weekly.

But I am still cautious about celebrating yet, because of the way TV Guide worded it: "may be sticking around for another year" and "NBC reportedly nearing a deal."

NBC has nothing but garbage on Thurday night and they renewed all of those crappy shows that no one watches, look at their ratings they're awfull. So since NBC has little to work with ALL week I'm sure these reports are good. They'll stick with a show with a small BUT strong following. I'm a little surprised FOX dumped "The Chicago Code".

Whozit, please do yourself a favor and watch Community. If you still say that show is garbage after giving it a fair chance then we'll just have to agree to disagree. I don't care for The Office and I've grown tired of 30 Rock, but Community is the best comedy on the air now.

If it is true that the show is renewed then it's great news but....

....I hope they do the decent thing and make this the last season. This will be several close calls with renewal/cancellation and I don't think they should push their luck any further. Finish off the story the way they want rather than be cancelled and leaving the fans hanging. Five seasons is a good run and they should go out high before it becomes too repetitive and tired.

Brit papers and saying Hugh Laurie wants to make the next season of "HOUSE" it's last, this may be a good idea because it's getting a little long in the tooth.
