The Eulogy of Marilyn

At 12:23 pm on 05-20-2011 my dear friend Marilyn was taken to live like a human rat, she will most likely be a highly medicated human rat, but that is not the point.

As my heart was being torn asunder at the realization that her "promises to appear" were disappearing at a rate that defies human logic, my mind was being bedazzled at the exponential inflation of her bond amounts. It was fantastic. It grew faster and steeper than our national debt under Obama and Bush. Was this real? Even possible? Have I been rooming with Marilyn Dahmer? .......but that is not the point either.

My point is this. My Marilyn is the BESTthere has ever been. When you wake one day and realize that everything within sight has been boosted right before the electric eye of corporate America.... it is GLORIOUS. When you turn over at night and get to view a kung-fu fight... it is GLORIOUS. When a simple bus ride to one town over can become a two day adventure....it is GLORIOUS. All with a smile and the f-you attitude. But, that is not really my point either.

Okay. Yes!! It IS a nauseatingly bad day for me and my penis. However, it's a bad day for all us fools who enjoy pissing into the wind now and again...ya, know? Laugh'n at the devil. I would agree it is never a good idea to try to out "Bonnie and Clyde".....well,... "Bonnie and Clyde". ...but man it was fun trying.... but, that is not the point either.

My point....I am optimistic. I look forward to dying brilliant streaks of purple in her hair again (as well as part of her ear, forehead, and neck... it was hilarious), I look forward to walking 10 miles for nothing, sitting at a water fall just because it was 1:15am, waking up with black feet...cause some retard left the black nail-polish open...on the bed!!!, watching things go from bag to bag, back to original bag, and then to the floor "OCD", .....I miss it already.....but, I don't think that is my point either.

My Marilyn is a special soul. Brilliant at times...Glorious at other times. One need only to watch her interaction with dogs, humans, or the number 33. It is Unexplainable. Hard as nails, yet soft and frail......did I just Dr. Seuss this post? She has a heart of gold and a smile that can melt the moon, a laugh that can make you cry, and a body that says....WHAT?

I hate 12:23 pm forever....if her attorney had just blathered for an additional 10 minutes...to "SAY" 12:33.......the stars would have aligned, the universe would be at peace, and my Marilyn would be telling me to "fuck-off" right now ..... well, it's true. How do I know? Cause I know Marilyn.

I miss My Marilyn now.

Long live 33.............

Speak the magic words all ye who seek priests in black robes:

O.R. Bond = Own Recognizance Bond = $0.00

Personal Recognizance Bond = $0.00

Do not pass bail, do not pay $200.

Funny how lawyers and bondsmen never mention that fact.

Yeah, judges and prosecutors have this nasty habit of taking a dim view of people who keep failing to appear. And failure to appear will NEVER make the charges disappear.

Sorry your girl got in so deep with this. Hopefully you can work it out. Get an attorney, and quick.

-----

Kaney, out of the roughly ten paragraphs in your original post, eight were about you and your feelings. Way to go, dude. What I understand is that you are a 39-year-old loser who can't get sex except from a 21-year-old emotional cripple, and that you elevate your parasitism by elevating your GF's instability into something mystical. If you REALLY cared about her... which you clearly don't... you would help her be a more durable person.

Well, to be fair, we don't really know either her or kaneman or what their relationship is like. Seems to me that someone in jail when she's 21, maybe she's spent time in jail before, and if so, maybe she's had a hard life.

Maybe she acts out through sex, maybe she's proud of it, maybe kaneman benefits a lot from her attitude and genuinely admires her for it.

And even if it's really just sex, is that bad?

I'm not seeing signs of physical or emotional abuse here. He's sad she's in jail and hopes to see her again. Wild or even antisocial behaviour on either/both sides of the couple equation doesn't undermine the apparent situation.

I'm sure she's a genuine OCD-plagued nymphomaniac. But if Kaney really cared about his GF, he would be talking about her and jail. Or her and her mom. Or her and a job. Sounds like she was found guilty of poverty. That's the #1 crime in Amerika.

"Failure to appear" is usually failure to be able to pay fines, court costs and lawyer fees. Failure to appear is civil contempt of court, which is a life sentence on death row...no bail/trial/appeal allowed.

Violation of a restraining order is civil contempt of court, which is a life sentence on death row...no bail/trial/appeal allowed.

That's why I always sign my name with the added "Under Protest" on govt contracts, and its a great idea for private contracts too.

The job of a public defender is to throw their "guilty" clients under the govt bus without ever meeting them for more than 30 seconds, but do just good enough so they lose their appeal for "ineffective assistance of counsel".

If you can't afford $10,000 cash up front for a lawyer, you better know how to read the law pro se.

According to lawyers, the purpose of "trials" to to find all defendants guilty, so the sheeple will say "there's no need for a revolution, we get a fair trial if we need one." Jails are the new slave plantations, with workers paid 20-cents an hour, and taxslaves billed $75,000 tax increase per POW [correction $125,000 per year].

So do you get conjugal visits?

I hope that if she serves her time they'll let her out and I also hope that she will get some treatment of some sort (regular medicine, medicine from the earth, whatever works for her) and feel better soon. It sounds like you care for her a lot. I also hope she and her mom can come to an understanding. Its true, if you don't show up for your hearings etc. the sentence just gets worse.

You've got money, yes? Hire a lawyer for her. All the failure to appear crap can be pled down, the protective order violation can likely be mitigated via probation, etc. First off, get her out on bail.

Okay, if you can't do both a good lawyer AND getting her sprung from jail, the smarter move is to get the good lawyer. A little jail time now for a much better attorney than a public defender seems like a decent trade-off (albeit it's still a shitty deal for her, since she's stuck in jail). But a good attorney can likely make *most* of this bullshit disappear, which is far, far, FAR better for her in the long run.

Make goddamned sure that everything gets knocked down to misdemeanor charges. No felonies, period. That would fuck her for life. Misdemeanors can be overlooked. Hell, probation or deferred adjudication would be preferable - anyone with willpower can do four or five years probation standing on their head.

Get her into some kind of anger management program, drug rehab (if there's *any* hint of a drug problem, or even of recreational drug use), whatever it takes - make damn sure the judge knows it, too. The legal profession loves to see contrition, loves to see people "playing by the rules". They eat that shit up. Judges - some of them, anyway - actually *want* to give people a second chance. Especially pretty young women. But she's got to appear to have learned her lesson, at least.

Class D felonies should be easy enough to plead down. That's one of those "felonies" they charge you with just to show that they're serious, but they aren't really so serious that they really want to send her to 10 years hard time or anything.

Prisons are overcrowded. Non-violent, non-drug crimes have prosecutors practically BEGGING defendants to take probation these days, and usually some nominal fine or restitution. And community service - they're big on making you work for them, for free, as part of your "punishment".

Tell your girl to hang in there, be cool, and chill the eff out, and she's got more than a fighting chance to pull out of this all right. Oh, and don't admit to SHIT, at least not until you've got things pled down and in writing.

And if you can pull it off, try to patch things up with her mom. Even if it's just YOU going to talk to her mom, letting her know that y'all are trying to get this shit worked out, make it right, etc.

A forgiving mom in court can never hurt.

Wow, Kaney. You provide the info for us to search your GF's criminal record. What a sweetheart. And despite being fabulously rich (you claim), you can't afford a lawyer for her?

I think you're just making all this up, and not being very convincing about it either.

Pretty insightful there PN. It's half her mom's fault, but Marilyn is the one who keeps going back for more ,and being the only one who gets in trouble it's kinda stupid.

Okay, I'm no lawyer, but what I'm seeing is a lot of penny-ante bullshit charges, and a couple more serious ones. Prosecutors and cops love to trump up charges because then they can get you to plea down. That's how the game is played. They don't go into court expecting to win EVERYTHING they throw at you, but if y'all plead down, they have to win SOMETHING. I'd say give 'em the "Breach of Peace" and a "Larceny" or two, because those are chickenshit misdemeanors that can easily be dispensed with via community service and some light anger-management classes. In return, insist that they drop the felonies, or at least downgrade them to misdemeanors. A Class D felony shouldn't be any big deal, really, but *ANY* felony conviction on your record is a fucking albatross around your neck, FOR LIFE. Never had any felony convictions, but I know a few who have, and they are well and truly fucked - can't vote, can't get a half-decent job, get treated like dogshit at any job they CAN get (because they're fucking convicts, and therefore worthless, right?), can't get a loan, etc., etc.

And, crazy as it may sound for me to say this, TALK TO "HERO" ABOUT SOME OF THIS STUFF. He says he's a prosecutor, so he may have some valuable insights to offer, which could be VERY helpful, especially coming "from the other side".

Most municipalities these days are looking for (a) little to no jail time for piddly crap like this (there's no terrorism here, no drug charges, no violence, nothing a DA can win votes on), and (b) at least a little money coming into the kitty via fines, fees, probation, etc.

I think this whole thing will be behind her before too long, and something you'll both hopefully laugh about a year from now. But for a little while, while shit gets worked out, life is going to suck, for both of you.

Good luck with it, and get the best damn lawyer you can possibly afford, and INSIST that no felony convictions of pleas will be considered!

Agree with PN on that. She needs to steer clear of her mom. If they have a toxic relationship, she needs to make goddam sure that if her mom wants to see her, EVER, she has to come to Marilyn. That way, if they get into it, SHE gets to call the cops this time, and it's HER place the cops come to, not her mom's!

Good news. Or good-ish, anyway.

"Waste of money" is what the justice system is designed to be - it's entirely constructed to waste so much of your time and money that you either give up, or give in and promise to never be bad again.

Is she Whoreacle from here? If she is then I don't like her, I think she's hideous. But I'm still glad that things are working out. Hopefully she and her mom can learn to coexist in a reasonable fashion and she can stick with her program and not get in trouble with the law again. I wish you guys well.

It's a slave plantation run for profit, which means it needs SLAVES.

Any excuse to catch a slave will do.

She must figure this out to escape the plantation.

I heard a black pro footballer tell a church group of blacks this fact of life, after his church was burned down by arson. Turned out the preacher did it. Now he's in the slave plantation.

If a Bible won't help, try Zen or Tao Te Ching? I doubt the Satanic Bible would be good for the soul, but she'd make a lot of new friends in the Big House.

She needs a liar - er, I mean "lawyer" - who can convince a judge that she needs psychiatric help. At this point, it seems the only way she gets unfucked by the prison-industrial complex.

'Course, that may well put her into the clutches of the medical-industrial complex, which ain't a whole lot better.

That's not known yet...She is being held unsentenced, because she broke the conditions of her bonds and jail diversion program. Considering it all pretty much revolves around her and her mother...I don't think much time, if any, once she pleas in court, but they will give her at least three continuances to teach her a lesson . she'll most likely get probation and a treatment program. Her mother, for the time being, is working with her attorney...so that helps...her picking up a ticket in prison..not so helpfulllllll....but it is what it is. Ya know?

Well, damn.

I can't say I know what the situation is, but it sounds to me like her mother called the cops on her own daughter during a heated argument, and just now her mother is learning why you shouldn't invoke the justice system on family or non-serious incidents.

I hate it when parents do that. For some reason all they can think is "THIS will teach this unruly offspring of mine a lesson in respect!" instead of "you know, wait, maybe this is overkill." And then when the justice system acts as its intended, they realize, "oh, this is much more harsh than I intended, now I have to get my kid out of this mess I tossed them into."

Exactly, but they of course get off scott free. It's bull shit cus 50% of the problem is her mother, so her mother should get 50% of the punishment rom the law-man. If this were the Empire, her om would be exactly with her.

I agree with you most of the time Byte, that family disputes should be kept within the family, but sometimes if one person is beating up the other then it is good to get the law involved. Jennifer's friends Ashley (daughter) and Adrien (mother) got into a heated argument and Ashley beat up Adrien. Adrien called the cops (Note that Ashley is an adult) and I don't blame Adrien for doing it. Nothing came of it though. But yeah I think in situations like that where physical violence of a notable nature is present then its okay to call the cops if ya want.
