We do have a few rules and regulations that must be met in order to be considered as a member, including uniform requirements and weapons requirements. These will be outlined below. Please be sure to read over all the information and confirm that you can meet all of these requirements before applying for membership. We are not trying to keep people out, but we do want to present a united, uniform Battalion of Independent soldiers, and one of the best ways to do this is to look the same.

Sorry about the heat Sister. Sending cool thoughts your way. Still unseasonably cool in the Old Dominion. Barely seen a day over 80, most days in the mid 70s, and next to no humidity to speak of. Makes me hopefully of a mild summer, especially after all the heat we got last year. Ugh.

So, I was weeding the orchard yesterday when I realized I was not alone. A tiny, infinitely still newborn fawn was less than a foot away before I even saw it! Very cool. Mom deer came back later and got the baby. Closest I've ever been to one. Made me smile; hope it does the same for you.

Hello there! The weather hasn't been too bad here in MI but it's been uncomfortably humid. It's been a wet year so far. i still haven't been able to manage Dragon Con. I'll get there one of these days gorramit.

Our heat index got up to 105 yesterday. Supposed to hit 108 with the index today.

We did and we managed to get a nice long thunderstorm last night that dropped our temperature over 10 degrees and the humidity by about 15. Bit of wind today and it is actually pretty nice out today.
