FFF.NET is now being hosted on a cloud service out of Chicago. We're still in shakedown and if you encounter any problems, just drop me an email at haken[at]fireflyfans.net and I'll get it resolved as soon as I can.

In the meantime, the site should feel a bit faster for many of you since it's geographically closer to you all than in the past when it was located in the middle of the Pacific. Let me know if this is true.

So that's why I can no longer type in the URL of FFF.net.

Have to hack through google.com to get here now on satellite ISP.

And my signature image on FFF.net no longer is visible. A cloud ate it.

I didn't realize that you were doing that. I've added fireflyfans.net to be site binding and it should work now without the ' www'; part.

Well, there's considerably more smog here than our last port, but if you look riiight there, I hear that Italian Beef place is pretty good. And plus there's the benefit of new and exciting crime. I may need to reinforce any Browncoats for the longer winters and Kaylee may need to insulate a few places in the ship a bit more, but we'll keep flyin' all right!

Now, to pass out that gross of Ice Planets before it gets cool, we SURE won't be needin them in a few months ;)

It's easier for me to use, for example instead of having to click "Boards", they're already listed on the right side of BLUE site home page. Plus blue is such a pretty color

Well, I had FFF bookmarked, and the bookmark stopped working when you changed over, so I LOST YOU for a few days. Thought maybe you'd made a change over Labor Day and it was down for the weekend, but when I couldn't get back on Tuesday, I got worried. Luckily I had an e-mail to another member who told me how to get back...whew! There are probably others out there who bookmarked FFF and are now lost, just to let you know...

That problem I was having with quotes? Seems GONE, whew, what a relief! Dunno if you fixed it or the new server works "righter", but I'm grateful. That's gone on for what felt like forever and was REAL frustrating for someone who posts a lotta quotes!

On the other hand, have been having trouble posting YouTube links, and that's still not coming out right for me...?

I don't use the old Blue FFF so wouldn't miss it, EXCEPT that I could change my thread title there, so kept IT bookmarked for when I forgot to put up a title (oops!) and would go there to type one in via "edit". So if we could edit our titles (maybe just the person who puts the thread UP?) in this version, I'd never miss it at all... ;o)

Can't tell you HOW happy I am to have that quote thing fixed, tho', and how VERY happy I am to find FFF again and learn it's not gone...!!!
