125 motorcycles and five HUGE truck and trailer loads of palleted parts are HERE!! 75% of the Massive Move completed…now we'll have all winter to sort and shelve things.
Of course today is pissing rain so no big trucks can get near the building which is swimming in mud; but a big chunk of stuff done so we're getting there.

Yesterday was a terrible day. My husband's boss apparently had a heart attack in his driveway and died sometime Monday evening. No one else was at home so they didn't find him until yesterday morning. The guy was 78 and not in the best health. Still, very sad day.

Wish we had the sun here, though we did have sun and 72 yesterday. Cloudy and mid 50s today. Calling for snow tomorrow night. Gotta love weather in Virginia. LOL

Hey Sister! Hope you and the family had a great Thanksgiving.

Had a pretty quiet one here. Got drug out Thursday night for some "early Black Friday" deals (why not just call it Shameless Pursuit of More Holiday Money Thursday and be done w/ it?) and was surprised how dead it was out there. Hopefully it will send a message to greedy retailers and they will stay closed on Thanksgiving so retail folks can stay home with their families. Oh who am I kidding? No way the corporations will give up the opportunity to make a dollar even for a holiday. *sighs*

About done with Christmas gifts. Just a few more to pick up and we will be all set.

I did the rake the lawn thing myself on Saturday Sister. Got it done in pretty near record time then went ahead and cleaned out the gutters again. Got to tackle the flower beds next weekend.

Yup had a good, peaceful T-Day…leaf raking weekend so it's all good.
I get at least a foot-tall stack of catalogs a week this time of year; plus all the buy, buy, BUY hype…
I have managed to avoid all that crap for years…of course, we live pretty far away from any big chain stores so that helps, too.
Did you see where I got a Can-Am Spyder for my b-day? LOVE IT!

Congratulations! How do you like the Spyder? There is a lady in our HOG group who rides a Spyder. She had a Harley, but dumped it bad a few years back and got gun shy of two wheels. Her husband who rides talked her into trying a trike, but she didn't like the feel of the one front / two rear configuration. Then she saw the Spyder w/ 2 in the front and low slung profile. She loves it.

Still riding myself. Had a few warm days last week and yesterday which has made it easier, but I have enough gear to stay warm. So long as it is not raining heavy, snowing, or icy roads I am going to be in the saddle.

Hump Day Eve and Big Suck in the rear view. Now if I could just get around to putting up the Christmas tree.....

LOVE the Spyder! Despite trying five different rides, I could never get the 'counter-steering' thing down…this thing drives like a car…plus it has reverse!! I'm in heaven. Can't wait for spring!

Yeah, that reverse gear will make life easier. Trying to push a 600 lb Harley backwards can be a bit of a chore. I don't mind the counter steering so much, though I remember it being a pain decades ago when I first started riding.

Spring will be here before we know it. Start planning some rides now!

Hump Day at last! Sunny without a cloud in the sky. Don't even mind if it is cold. Roads were dry enough to ride this morning and that is just what I did too! Believe we are supposed to get up to 50 today and I will gladly take it.

Good on the new gas logs and the whole not blowing up thing Sister. ;) My parents have a gas log fireplace which is pretty nice. Makes the whole family room warm in no time and if you're not careful will run you out of the room with the heat if left on too long.

Supposed to be in the high 50s and sunny all week so I am still in the saddle. I know I am on borrowed time, but I am loving every extra minute of it. Time to put my valiant steed away for two months is fast approaching and I will be fairly miserable without my wind therapy until Spring arrives. Well early March when I break it out again between rain showers. :)

Hope everyone had a good weekend and that you have your shopping for the holiday done so you can relax and enjoy the time with family.

Shopping is done, decorations are up, go on vacation for a week starting next Tuesday. Gorram the holiday snuck up fast this year. Supposed to get a drop in temperature starting this weekend moving into Christmas. Doubt there's much chance of a white Christmas, but I can always hope, right?

We got sunshine on Sunday. Even if it was cool it was great to see that big, shining orb. We went to see "It's A Wonderful Life" at a nearby theatre. Truly a great experience as it is my all time favorite Christmas movie and I have never seen it on the big screen before. They also showed "White Christmas" and "Holiday Inn" earlier in December. Have it on my calendar for 2015 to catch them all next year!

Raining today. Supposed to rain all day and into tomorrow. I was pouting like a kid who got scolded when I woke up this morning and realized there would be no riding the steel horse today. *sighs*

Glad to hear you have family visiting Sister. Hope you have a wonderful visit with them.

Thanks Sister. They're calling for sunny skies and high 50s to low 60s Friday and Saturday so I should get some saddle time in while I am off.

Not too terribly cold here this morning. Finally dried up yesterday and got up to 68. Last night it cooled to 36, but sunny this morning so I rode into work. High today is 48, but will cool to 26 tonight. Grasping desperately to these last few days of riding weather. :(

Supposed to get down to 28 tonight then a high of 32 on Wednesday. Tomorrow night we hit 10 degrees then a high of 28 on Thursday. I rode today and will do so tomorrow, but Thursday may be a tad too chilly. *sighs*

Guess the cold is here for a bit. Rather it was just cold and stayed that way until Spring instead of all of this back and forth. No wonder so many people in this are sick.
