Sunny and cool here today, but rain is supposed to move in tonight and keep it damp all day tomorrow, though it is supposed to be in the 60s. Sunday should be nice and conducive to riding.

Can't wait until you see Vikings so we can talk about it! Great episode last night!

I knew you would like the episode of Vikings. Glad Lagertha wised up and told Ecbert she is not his fool. Not sure how cozy Ragnar truly is with Ecbert. He is not happy about the constantly changing terms of the agreement regarding what his warriors must do to secure the farm land they were promised. What is to keep them secure? Especially if their leaders are back in their own homeland.

Sunday was a beautiful day! Wife and I rode for about 3 hours. Warm and sunny, even if a bit windy. Today we are supposed to hit 72. Going to make for one great ride home!

I can totally see why too! Got the pics (thanks again for sending them!) and the restoration your hubby did was simply amazing. It is obvious that he is passionate about restoring vintage bikes and that love came through in his bringing this pretty lady back from the brink. The trophy, prize money, and honor were well deserved.

Dreary, overcast Hump Day, but at least the rain held off so I could ride. Looks like thunderstorms for Thor's Day, which seems fitting, and rain on Friday as well. At least the weekend looks to be sunny and high 50s. Should be good for riding on Saturday. Sunday we get our new puppy, Sjöfn.

Yes, a new puppy. She is an adoption, she is 7 weeks old and just weaned. Full blooded Australian Shepherd. She has the bluest eyes and sweet disposition. We pick her up this Sunday and the wife and I are both excited. Have pics if you'd like me to send you a couple Sister.

Just beat the rain and thunder to work this morning. All of it has blown over now and it should be dry and 76 when I leave this afternoon. Going to make for a beautiful ride home this afternoon.

You are most welcome, and thank you! She is quite cute, and a bundle of energy. When she tires out she just flops down wherever she is and is out like a light in seconds. Soundest sleeping pup I have ever seen. Now if we could just get her to sleep through the night. Was up with her four times last night to take her out. Going on about 3 hours of sleep. Forgot what it was like to have a small puppy in the house.

Glad you have good weather today Sister. Means we will have it tomorrow. Woke up to rain this morning so didn't ride in. Supposed to stop around mid day, but no sun until tomorrow.

Having a new puppy is like a new baby!… I used to set my alarm for every 3-4 hours and wake the PUPPY up to take them outside…counter-productive to sleep…but it helped.
You have a great ride to and from work.

Had a good ride in this morning. 72 here this afternoon and sunny so I am looking forward to the ride home here in about an hour.

Puppy slept much better last night. We got her out in the yard to play, she played with the younger cat in the house, and by bed time she was wore out. She only got me up three times last night for a trip outdoors. :)

Thanks Sister. She only got me up once last night, so I figure another week and she should be sleeping through the night. I am looking forward to the weekend with her. Nothing wrong with a good ol' thunderstorm. I enjoy them myself. I especially like them at night. Sound of the rain and rumble of thunder always lull me to sleep.

Good morning all! Hope everyone had a good weekend. Those that celebrate it, I hope you had a good Easter. We had a small ceremony of offering, presenting mead to Eostre for a bountiful Spring.

Got in some riding Saturday while the weather was nice and had a HOG chapter meeting that morning. Lots of rides and rallies planned. Can't make some of the big ones due to prior obligations, but we're going to make all the ones we can this year.

I would not want to be in Floki's position either. If things do not go well it will fall on Floki, but perhaps that was Ragnar's plan. The sneak peek at next week things certainly do not seem to be going the way of our heroes.

Rain started here last night and is supposed to continue pretty much right on through until tonight. Hope it clears up enough to ride tomorrow. Don't mind driving "Lola", my '67 Ford pick up, but you know I prefer to be in the saddle.

Have a 10-year old big dog who we thought we'd lose today…he's got some new meds and his final chance. So hard to see…Enjoy that puppy!
Well, it's a humid day here in TN…the weather pukes are already screeching about HORRIFIC STORMS for later in the week. If a tornado takes the house..I'll see if our insurance can cover building a full scale replica of Serenity.

Sad day. Our old dog had a catastrophic failure of his spine about midnight so it was a mad rush to the vet's clinic to no avail. Our Bob is gone.

Glad there was no falling involved w/ the gutter cleaning. One of my least favorite jobs, but one that must be done.

Beautiful weekend here. Sunny and mid 70s both days. Put some miles on the bike, got Sjöfn out for walks and play time, and took her to the park on Sunday for a long walk.

Supposed to hit 79 today and not a cloud in the sky. Of course they are calling for your neck of the woods to send us some rain tomorrow Sister. I am hoping it blows north of us, but who can say.

Hope everyone had a great weekend. Ignore the fact that the day that shall remain nameless is here. Soon it will be gone.

Glad you got to get some time in the saddle Sister!

Had so much rain over last week I had to break out the lawn mower and cut the lawn as the grass had grown like crazy. The yard is nice and green though.

Rained for over 12 hours yesterday, but finally stopped around midnight last night and dried up enough by this morning I could ride without issue. Cloudy and cool today and tomorrow, but rain they are saying will hold off until Saturday night or Sunday morning. Hoping for the latter as I need to switch out the head gasket on Lola and adjust the throttle cable on the wife's bike. My Harley could stand a good washing and detailing as well.

Hump Day indeed! Let's hope the rest of the week passes as quickly as the first part!

Got caught in a brief shower on the way home last night, but both the bike and I could use a bath so no harm done. We did get a bit of rain overnight, but rode in this morning. Supposed to be partly sunny and warm today and the weekend is shaping up to be sunny and warmer.

Did you watch Vikings last night? WTF?!? We only have one episode left so hope the season finale is a great one. At least Game of Thrones is back on now and I have Daredevil in the Netflix list to watch.

I believe I know how the Vikings season finale will play out. Let's see if my hunch is accurate. Shared my thoughts with my wife, but will avoid potential spoilers here.

Going to watch episode 4 of Daredevil tonight. Enjoying it so far. Like how dark they have made it, yet they still make references to the events from the Avengers movie. Very cool. Like that they are staying consistent with the MCU.

Game of Thrones second episode was good, but there are just so many characters to keep track of, so many storylines running around you almost need a program to keep up with the show.

Rained Saturday afternoon into the evening which made it damp and a bit humid Sunday. Luckily the rain held off yesterday and today is nice and only supposed to get up to the low 70s.

Earth Day and Hump Day? Win! We planted a new tree in the yard to celebrate and with all the rain we have received of late it should thrive.

Cool this morning (45 degrees), but it certainly warmed up quickly. 19 degrees in less than 3 hours. Now if that small band of thunderstorms will pass north or south of this afternoon it will be a good day.

Glad you dodged that bullet Sister.

I would not be overly concerned about the finale tonight. Got a feeling things will work out. Hate to see it go as it will be February before it returns. Gotham ends on Monday too so that's another show I will be without a while. At least I have Daredevil and a few other series in my Netflix list to hold me over.

Supposed to rain here all weekend long. Have to cut the grass this afternoon as it needs it again after all the rain we have had over the past two weeks.

North Carolina Pickle Festival in Mount Olive, NC this Saturday. The wife won the Mrs North Carolina Pickle Queen title so it will be her first appearance with the new title. Not a fan of pickles, but there is supposed to be a good classic car and motorcycle show as well as other festival activities to keep me out of trouble:

Set up for next season….FANTASTIC.
I'm with you, BC1…hard to wait until next year.
But, it's FRIDAY!! We have an entire warehouse full of motorcycle stuff to sort out beginning this weekend…so it's a rain or shine kinda thing.

The season finale of Vikings was indeed awesome! Why do I keep hoping that Lagertha and Ragnar will get back together? Especially after her talk at the coffin...... Set up for next year does look good. Rolla...what are you doing???

Sorting through a warehouse full of motorcycle stuff sounds like a lot of fun to me! Wish I was close enough to help. :)

We BOTH keep hoping Ragnar and Lagertha will reunite, Browncoat1; although Lagertha is very proud and may not do what we want, even if she'd like to.
Let's see…got SO MUCH accomplished yesterday…at least ten pallets emptied, shelved and organized…still many, many more to go. We had a good crew of five working yesterday…today it's down to three, but we'll do what we can…starting to see open spaces in that warehouse so that's really good.
Hoping that Dany's dragons behave tonight.

Well, another Big Suck.
But we got SO much done this weekend up in the warehouse.
Got ALL the RE5 stuff unpacked and shelved…next weekend we
start on the ten pallets of Hercules parts.
Good hard working weekend…hope everyone else had a good one, too!

I know. Glad to know I am not the only one hoping that Lagertha and Ragnar reunite. I know they are both proud, Lagertha more so of the two, but at what point do you admit you made a mistake rather than be unhappy?

Good on getting so much accomplished. Bet the warehouse is coming along nicely.

And ten or twelve more to go! Took all the busted flat cardboard boxes (a pickup truck full) to the dump yesterday. This weekend will be another marathon but it's getting DONE and that's the point!

Found a fantastic crew…they came out yesterday afternoon…dug a trench from our garden shed to the new warehouse…buried an electric line and now…WE HAVE LIGHTS!! Husband says, that means we can all work longer…uh oh.
