With the prevalence of mobile hand devices to post with, I was wondering if a small change could be made.
At the bottom of posts, there are options. Reply. Reply with quote. Edit. Top. Home. They are all right next to each other. Would it be possible to change "edit" to something larger, such as "edit post" or similar? As is, trying to select "edit" results in jumping to top of page, or replying giving us a double post.

Already asked about adding the feature to show if and when somebody edited their posts, and it looks like that will happen. Just wanted to put it here so it doesn't get forgotten.
Also, if we could be able to deselect "Notify me when someone responds to my post" permanently, maybe inside "Edit Profile", that would be great. I've been spammed by the two idiots all day today, and I don't need them clogging up my email with crap.
Even better if when we deselect that permanently, it applies to all of our previous posts as well.

Update looks good.
I don't know if the time is right because I still haven't figured out how to change our timezone and the site has me thinking it's a lot later in the day than it actually is whenever I come here.
2. [FEATURE REQUEST / DUMMY NEEDS HELP?] If I'm not just a dummy and it doesn't exist, can we have a way to change our time zone?
3. [FIXED??] Email notifications settings.
I noticed that the options for both "Include Signature with my Post" and "Notify me when someone responds to my post are both unchecked by default. I'm going to test right now and reply with the answer on whether or not these are persistent by adding the signature back to my post here.
4. [FEATURE REQUEST / IMPOSSIBLE ASK?] Retaining memory of unfinished post.
I don't know if the new page setup even allows or has any control over it, but before if I were to refresh the page while writing a post, or if I accidentally deleted the tab and re-loaded it, or I were to back out of one and come back to it, the entire text was still saved in memory and I could pick up right where I left off. This is no longer the case. You lose the entire post in any of the above events. Can we revert that?
5. [BUGS??] Profile / Signature Oddities.
I've noticed that I have some weird stuff going on in my profile.
A. At the top of my profile it says this:

The first line was something I had on my profile years ago. Maybe even up there until the move. If that line never popped up when we posted, it very well could have. The 2nd line is something I just added as my "Tagline" in Edit Profile yesterday.
Personally, I don't mind leaving the first one up there. It's a good quote. But if other members want to change their whole thing, it appears that they probably can't right now. Looks like the old info was hard-coded in the move, and putting something in your bio tagline now appends it to that first thing?
B. I'm assuming the same thing is happening with Biography...
My bio says: Dude, where's my car? I have no memory of ever writing that and it could have predated my binge drinking days for all I know. But when I go to the edit page my Biobgraphy is empty, which leads me to believe if I entered anything else it also wouldn't overwrite the original bio and just append to it like the Tagline did.
C. This one's... strange. The Signature...
The signature I've been using lately seems to have imported correctly and was no problem with the transfer. But if I look at my Profile Page, it also says "A government is a body of people, usually notably ungoverned." ~Shepherd Book --------------------------------------------------", which was a quote I had as a signature a long time ago.
Also, another good quote, and I don't mind it being there.
I guess that whole last Bug isn't really anything to worry about. Legacy members could even see very old stuff they put in there and they might get a kick out of it.
6. [QUESTION] Do you intend on adding back the PM feature? That would be pretty awesome if you did, but I don't know how much extra overhead that creates for you and I understand if you don't want to do it, at least until more people show up.

I was posting a follow up to that last night and it was erased when I got a website error (at the old site, I could have just hit back and it all would have been there, but it was wiped out completely).
Long story short, "Include Signature" and "Notify" are both off by default now.
Good news for people who don't want to be spammed with email and/or only want to have notifications for specific threads.
Bad news for anybody who wants their signature included with every post. Now the only way that your signature is included is if you remember to check that box every post you make.
I think we should also default to posting in whatever section of the website we're posting from. Most of the posts made here are in Real World Discussion Events, yet that is near the bottom of the list and you have to select it now. Having the option to select isn't necessarily a bad thing, but for 25 years we've just been posting in the forum that we were posting from and being forced to select the forum from the drop down list is a needless inconvenience.
