Thanksgiving thoughts.

Lately my thoughts have been bleak and grey and dreary, but y'know that doesn't make anything better. So tonight I thought I would post something positive.

I want to say that I am thankful for lots of things. I'm thankful for my family and for my friends. I'm thankful for the loves I have known and lost, to let me know that there is love. I am thankful for this community that lets people of different social strata in different places of the world communicate and share and generally just support each other. I am thankful for the food for my belly and the roof for my head. I am thankful that I have the leisure to watch things such as firefly and to make the plans for things like my shindig next week. In short, when I think of what I do have, the things that depress or irk me pale in comparison to what I do have.

Although that isn't to say I wouldn't be more thankful if I had tons of money and a girlfriend.
