1.)my sister bought me the dvd's for my birthday.
2.)Serenity (the pilot) my sister made sure that i watched all the episodes in order, including the pilot.
3.)omg!!! i already loved joss but now he is my god!!!this show is so rutting fantastic !!!
4.) i love the 'just gotta keep flying' attitude.
5.)yep. i lent my dvd's to a family of three and now they're all hooked.
6.)it never aired on my tv till recently (i live in aus) but i know i would have hated fox with the fire of a thousand suns had i been one of u!!!!

1. How were you first introduced to Firefly and who introduced you?

- I saw the commercials on Fox, was intrigued, and checked it out.

2. What was the first episode that you ever saw??

- Train Job, as it was the first aired (thanks to the chimps at Fox).

3. What was your first impression of the series?

- Well, until the point in Train Job where Mal kicked Crow through Serenity's port engine, I didn't think it was all that great. It felt like you were dropped in the middle of a story without knowing who was who or why they were onboard. When Mal kicked Crow through the engine though I knew this show was something special.

4. What is your favorite bit of the …erm “messages”…that firefly sends?

- That freedom is precious and that we are not as free as we might like to think.

5. Have you recruited any other Browncoats???

- Yes. To date I have recruited 11.

6. What did you do/feel when they cancelled the series? GRRRR!

- I thought that Fox was the anti-Christ. I have not watched Fox since the cancellation, and will never watch them again.

1) The best man at my brother's wedding found out that I hadn't seen Firefly and FedEx'd me his DVDs as soon as he got home.
2) I first saw "Serenity" (since I was watching in order on the DVDs).
3) I was blown away by how well done the show was.
4) I like the "family" that has been created out of very disperate individuals.
5) Not yet.
6) By the time I got to "Objects in Space" I was using every curse word I knew to damn Fox for ending the show when there was so much more that needed to be delved into. A movie just can't get to it all.
