Hope From Universal?

So I received my form letter response from Universal today. Same one that everyone else who emails in about the Firefly movie seems to be getting.

At least they are publicaly admitting that there is one in the works. That has to give us some hope... right? I mean why would they bother having a reply like this if they knew it was something they were definitely going to reject. I think this might indicate that Universal is giving some serious (positive?) thought into this.

Or you know....I could be reading something into this form letter response that I (we) just want to hear. I sincerely hope not but it always scares me when I get my hopes up this much over something that means so much to me. Especially when it's over something that so many people (including myself) think should be a simple decision.
