I've been using this for about 3 or so months. Whatisit page: http://www.v92.com/
While in chat this weekend someone commented about being on dial up (like me) and how they didn't know if they were tying up the line and missing calls.
Mine (modem on hold) works by having call waiting. While I'm online, if someone is calling in, a grey box pops up on the screen. It reads "you have an incoming call, would you like to take it" you have the option of taking the call or not. Once you've finished the phone call, they grey box asks if you want to resume your internet connection.
