So it's my 1st vistit ever to this site and i am hooked. i heard how amazing firefly was, along with the huge fanbase it had, yet until i bought the complete season out of the blue one day, i couldn't have imagined how much i was missing out on. Everyone seems really pumped for Serenity's release, but it makes me nervous to think it mightn't make it to the Australian shores. Maybe i'll have to go to America for it - honestly if i wasn't a poor uni student i would in a heartbeat. is that obsessive?

Hehe, I did almost the exact same thing. I watched the pilot at my friends house, had a joygasm, and went out the very same day to buy the series.

The irony is, I just started watching the whole gorram thing now. 2 months after I bought it. : d

Looking back, I have NO IDEA why I waited so long!! Firefly has quickly become my favorite TV show.. even though it isn't on TV anymore.

I'm glad to hear there are others out there who up and bought the entire Firefly series for no good reason! I loved Buffy of course, but I'd never seen Firefly, til one day I passed it in a store and, well, the rest is history. The best impulse buy I've ever made!

Don't worry, it'll be cinematically released in Australia for sure. In fact, I may end up seeing it there, given that I'll be Australia for my brother's wedding late October and the UK won't see hide nor hair of the movie till November 4th.

Nope not obsessive in the slightest! I'm a poor Uni student too! All be it one in England. You could always just wait for the DVD! Hmm, didn't think so.
