Considering the size of this site, and how much it's grown in the year or so that I've been here, the fact that we still have a site at all is a miracle in my opinion. Haken isn't getting paid to host/keep up this site... far from it. He's just a great Browncoat doing this in his (unfortunately increasingly small) spare time, around his full time job and tons of other commitments. New pictures, new polls, and other stuff are things that take time, space (to host pics and such on the already overworked server), and money (to buy equipment to host such improvements). All things Haken has in increasingly short supply.

While I doubt anyone would object that you were "out of line" to request info/new stuff, I think the tone of your request could have been less abrasive.

Change is good now and again - and there's something to be said for being grateful for what we do have, while we work for what we want more of.

Yes, I see Haken over on the brown board quite a bit. The green board too.

I don't think I'm out of line by asking this question and requesting some new pictures to gaze at once in a while. I realize Haken must be busy, but how long would it take him to check in a couple times a month to change his baby's diaper? Give the place a massage? Change the tp roll?

The people here keep things interesting conversation-wise, but isn't anyone else tired of this ol' housecoat? Everyone needs a new frock once in a while...

Haken is Lord of all here, but he is a busy, busy man. Me myself, I'm just thankful that he took the time to give us this playground in the first place. I'm more than happy to wait all the time needed until Haken can free himself up from his busy schedule.
