Because I can't explain everything I do or see:

The toughened bunch of soldiers in the hydraulic shop just outside my door watches a lot of The Price is Right. A LOT!!! (And I mean toughened bunch of soldiers, this base is notorious for deploying people over and over again.)

More than a few people have seen me use my PDA alot lately. Honestly, I'm either playing Monopoly on it, or reading The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. Three people in the last week have asked me "So, what are you watching?"

I realize that this is very strange behavior on my part, but I think about future photo oppurtunities and I practice from time to time...mostly in front of a urinal. Then, I remember what I'm doing and think "My GOD! I'm practicing smiling while I'm taking a piss! What's wrong with me?"

I was walking past a mirror (not a big fan of mirrors...too honest)and stopped. While, in the past on a couple of occasions I've walked past mirrors, paused, and turned suddenly looking for my father, only to realize its just me, I never realized just how grey my hair has gotten lately. There's a lot of stress involved.

The title of my last flylog "To ThatWeirdGirl" keeps staring at me, accusatorily, whenever I'm on the home page. People, can't you write flylogs any faster?

I walk past my unmowed lawn everyday and think...I really should mow that. Then I go inside, take a shower and forget about it.

My boss went on for ten minutes about a bird that attacked him this morning. I laughed and try to feign interest, until I couldn't take it anymore, and walked off in the middle of yet another sentence that began with "That feathered fucker..."

Well, I've heard Adams purists are not delighted with the film, but from what I've read/heard of Douglas Adams, I think he would've gotten a hoot out of it. I have all of them downloaded, and I have to say the whimsical wording of the prose is half the appeal...the other half being an appealing story.

SimonWho...My father did get a grey hair anyhwere near his head until he turned thirty, consequently, the same year he got a vasectomy. I have as much grey at 30 as he did at 40. At least its only going grey at the temples...Chicks dig that (At least I can tell myself that...)

I'm always reading on my clie. I've got almost as many books there as on my shelf. I just reread the five books for the hundredth time in case I don't get a chance to see the movie. the end always makes me cry. *sniff sniff*

Photo ops? Actually, I can picture you smiling when you pee. Not picturing you peeing, just the smiling part, nothing else, wouldn’t' picture that sort of thing, I swear, not with you...I mean...crap!

See, if my old boss had a story about him being violently attacked, I'd want to hear about it for hours on end. Plus grey hairs suck. I'm just getting to the point where I can't pretend they're highlights. Unfortunately it's genetic, my father went grey(ish) at university so this is a well worn path. I wouldn't worry about your blog either. I think it's nice when special people get told how special they are because sometimes they doubt it themselves.
