Ok my Dad got laid off from work a few weeks ago and we went on unemployment of $309 a week. We also got evicted from a garage we were storing a lot of old truck parts and spent 3 weeks clearing this place out (hard dirty work). So money has been tight and the rent is due, time to cash in our “savings account” (Bottles and Cans). We got to Aldi’s first and get $7.50. We then head over to Tops hopeful that we will get our needed $8.

Dad: Maybe we can take what’s left and get a small pizza
Me: It will be one small ass pizza.
Dad: Maybe a couple of slices?
Me: Slice of pepperoni is more like it.

So we get $4. Still $4 short of what we need. Off to Dollar General and we get $0.80. We come back home and grab all the bottles for Wegmans ($0.75 worth) and a bunch of Canadian quarters and head off to Wegmans. I turn in the bottles and head for the service desk and fork over the cash and $4 US in Quarters and $0.75 (the service charge) in Canadian Quarters and get my money order for Rent. I hope I don’t have to do this again.
