Emma

Oh well
Thursday, June 9, 2005

Well, I am finally so fed up I am resorting to telling the world.

I have had enough of sitting on my arse all day staring at the computer screen trying to find inspiration.

I am fed of being by myself for 11 hours a day with no hope of reprieve.

I want civilisation - I live in the 4th biggest city in the country and the museums, galleries and shops (not even the supermarkets) open on Sunday.

I am lonely, all my friends live in other countries and as the only one on my course I have no sodding company except when my lovely fella comes home.

I have no money - not a cent or a penny. Literally none, anything I eat, drink or buy is with the fellas money - so obviously I buy nothing and can't even go to the shop to get bread when we run out, unless of course fella is home.

You know what is really pissing me off, not seeing Serenity and living in the backwater known as Europe so having no chance until October by which time I am sure spoilers will eat me. (Not sure that is technically possible though)

I could go on but I fear your intestines would climb up themselves and strangle you.

Bye then

COZEN

Emma.

You will be strong. The lonely moments will pass: you will endure this time and be stronger for it. You're memories of those tiny moments during this time that is largely defined by angst will be blown away by those tiny moments of rapture, and by the results of the work you are now putting in toward preparing yourself for the years to come. I have faith in you. You are smart, and have an appreciation for that which is shiny. And you have your feller. Even boredom is a trial of sorts, and you will pass the test. Else, you would not be sharing with us.

Don't be shy about sharing when things are better: thats fair, ain't it?

I've actually been in that (pretty much exact) situation before as well.

My heart goes out to you.

You poor thing! Involuntary isolation sucks! Any chance you could get a cat or dog to keep you company? A pet can be a great morale booster. Anyway, you can always talk to us if all else fails.
Where are you, anyway?
