Even Smiling Makes My Face Ache

So, what to do, what to do.

My sister in law is visiting. She's 13. Canton has already told me that he won't be coming, and so, I posited to my wife, who told me that she wasn't going to go on Thursday. Apparently, when me and my wife went out (for the first time since sister has been here), she called her mother like three or four times, complaining that there was nothing to do, and she was bored and homesick. I understand all of that...that's fine with me, but it has upset my wife a great deal. And so, rather than leave sister alone, she's staying. Now,...I have put forward that we could find a babysitter, and all of us could go to the movie, now that that ticket is freed up. But, I'm a little more than a little perturbed about it after thinking on it for a while. Why should I have to give up a ticket because her sister is bored...and God knows she's not going to "get it" as she's never seen Firefly a day in her life. And, more than likely, doesn't want to. It irks me a bit. "I'm bored...I'm homesick...gimme a ticket." Yeah, I know, I'm oversimplifying.

Post before last on here for me wasn't about informing anyone that my wife was mad, or that she was jealous of anyone, etc. The conversation between us that I posted struck me as funny. I know I have a strange sense of humor. She's just...suspicious, or rather, cautious, I guess you'd say. I have given her reason to be so in the past, and I can't blame her for being that way now, but, I also have no idea how to change her mind. I don't know how to let her know that I'm not out searching for the next girl, and the one after that. Saying it don't work...I may be reduced to a childrens book with colorful illustrations.

I stay away from this site more and more because I have to now. My last intention on this earth was finding a way to force someone else off.

Don't apologize to me. I don't show him anymore because he regualrly checks the goings on. I thought it was a funny story. I really did. jake not so much. Oh well.

If i were near your part of the world, I would volunteer to babysit if she took the ticket. If she didn't want the ticket, I would be glad to join you. I hope you have fun.
