After reading about what's needed to make sure we get a sequel, I started thinking about a rallying song for the sequel cause. Because I was sleep-deprived, I said I'd think about it later, and then I tried to sleep. I really did.

But the muse had other ideas. Have I mentioned that my muse is a Browncoat? She only gives me songs about Firefly, despite the fact that I've been trying unsuccessfully to write songs for years.

Anyway, the verses need more work before I put this on the Blue Sun Room page, but here's the chorus:

Trilogy, trilogy, I want my trilogy,

Ahhhhh! I was watching tv...a rarity...when a commercial started...now that commercial and your song have merged in my mind...

The commercial? Chili's. That's right, the babyback ribs song. It doesn't fit exactly, but it's there, in my mind, distorting your song.

Help me.

Don't worry, CMS; there's a melody. I just don't have anyway to convey it. Geez, I've got to find a recording studio around here. (I'm on the road with my band right now.) As soon as I get it recorded, I'll put it out in a postcard like I did the Ballad of Joss. For now, though, folks may have to catch me in person at Dragon*Con to see this one.
