Aaaaw, you looked upset when we left you at the station (now, that sounds even more upsetting! She wanted to be left there, folks!).
Anyhoo... I've seen Serenity three times now. In one week. Yes, I know. Edinburgh, lots of luck etc.
But. You must believe me. The third time is a charm! The second time I saw it (the actual premiere, squeeee!) I was still flabbergasted after seeing it. And it was sooooo cold in that cinema. Second row in the front, not helping either (but great seats for the Q&A!). But the third time it was really really wonderful. Please give the movie a second chance. You will love it more, really.
I still have to write my report for various boards. I will get to it. Sometime soon... ;)
