I've been a subtle lurker on this sight for a year now. It feels good. I love that there are others out there devoted to being fans, to being geeks, to being supportive of something that is just downright cool.

You can compare this to Star Wars. You can compare it to Star Trek. You can pull whatever you want out of your hat and start pointing out the similarities or the lackings or the faults. But the truth is this is just one really damn good show. And this movie doesn't have too much to live up to as far as the realm of 'higher art' may go. But when it comes to us, to people like you and me, this movie is a whole new reason to wake up in the morning. Somebody is finally being original, they're writing from their heart, and they're doing it RIGHT.

So thanks, Joss. Thanks to everybody out there that helped bring this to life. Thanks to this site and the people that are so dedicated, so incredibly addicted, they make me look like a poser. You guys are awesome.

Three days left, everybody. And I'm glad to have been here, with you, in the looming shadow of something that's really going to be great.
