I'm not Australian, but I can tell you that there are a LOT of Australians in the fandom, in fact Universal created an Australian specific site, here:

where you would find mostly Australians
(but don't abandon us here at fff we are a friendly and international group).

There are fireflyfans who haven't seen the movie yet, usually because they reside in a country that hasn't gotten it yet...but a lot of them are lying low to avoid online spoilers for the film.

Joss Whedon, who created the show, went to Australia to promote it, and he will probably be returning when they are ready to start filming 'Wonder Woman'.

I'm an Aussie. Way down here in Melb. Where are you?

I've seen the movie, though, it was fairly awesome. If you want to see it, I'd go really soon. Not many cinemas in Melb are still playing it, I know Highpoint is.

I'm sure they won't mind you just butting in chat, either. Everyone here is really welcoming. The chat doesn't work for me (luh suh computer that I have), otherwise I'd be there.
