I love my Ipod. I love my music. I love my "weekly fix of the 'verse." And I love having my answer to the "Question of the Week" on the air. Funky-ness!

Last week's question was something to the effect of: What's your fav episode and why? Well, I said "Safe." Now, how many of y'all agree? *Sees very few raised hands* Oh, dang it all... No, but really; as much as I can't choose and would love to say all of them, I do love that eppie. Simon and River is one of my favorite relationships (not "ships," as in romantic pairings, cuz that would be...wrong.) and "Safe" did a great job of playing up how much Simon would do for her; how much they love each other. And, come on, Mal's line about "Yeah, but she's our witch. So cut her the hell down!" And then, the quote that spawned a million posts..."What does that make us?"
"Big damn heroes, sir."
"Aren't we just?"

And aren't they just?



Note: I can't post a response to my own blog: how sad is that? But to Anonymous:
Okay, here I go again. Once again, I must explain that--being incredibly squemish and all during intense torture scenes--I have never actually seen "War Stories." I know, I know...what kind of "devoted Browncoat" doesn't watch every single ep numerous times? I do, however, have the basic plot points down and, yes, from what I've heard, that's a great scene.
