my first fanfic, yippy!

I have discovered the joy of writing fanfic! I am almost ready to start posting, but I need a mentor. In particular, a beta read and some help with formatting.

Before you volunteer, be warned my fic is currently at 57,000 words in 19 chapters, with a bit more to be done on the ending. I know, I'm crazy, but it just took on its own life. Further warning: I've never written any fiction before, so although I think my story rocks I make no promises that anyone else will agree...

Also because I'm crazy, I didn't start with something simple. Simple just ain't my style. It's been tricky to write, and it's dark. Angst and more angst with a little horror thrown in. But there's some fun things and a tiny bit of NC/17 too.

I'm thinking I can give you guys the first 9 chapters. It's a good breaking point. All types/levels of comments are welcome, I'm too imbroiled in the story and can't see the whole thing through all the little words...

It's a word doc, about 700k for 9 chapters. I'll mail it to BEB. Do any of you have a suggestion as to how I can make it downloadable for you other two? I'm not so internet savvy. maybe myspace or something?

I have read quite a bit of fanfiction and have provided some editorial comments on a novel my husband is writing. I am by no means a pro at this but I also will help out or just lend moral support!
