Been a long time since I have been on here or posted...

Hey hey for those of you who even noticed I was gone. Been a long while. Well for the time being I am stuck in this hell hole we all know as Iraq. Not so bad, but I would rather be home. Missed the BDM in the theatres cuz we were mobilizing :(, but I got it on DVD the morning it hit the shelves at the PX, and have already started converting people with just the movie. Haha. wish I had brought the series with me though. A buddy of mine(who is a huge star wars geek) told me that Serenity was everything he has ever wanted out of a sci-fi movie. Aw well, maybe I will show my face around here more often when I got the time, and damn do I seem to have an endless amount of time. Much love from overseas...

God bless and keep you and your comrades safe. I read the news today of the copter crash and felt terribly sad. War, it seems, always manages to win out over reason for our species. I hope someday the human race will outgrow it's addiction to violence and that our leaders will not have to send young men and women off to fight and die in some struggle somewhere. All victories in war are Pyrrhic victories if even only one good man dies.
