It's amazing what you get to talking about with your friends...

So here I was taking the train home with my friend. We had just gotten out of class and very much not wanting to talk about class. I have no idea how it came up, but my friend got the notion that Kiefer Sutherland played Iago in the 1995 film version of Othello. She was wrong and I was quick to point that out, saying it was Kenneth Branagh. Having viewed the movie for a class she agreed with me on that one.

However, she was completely convinced that it was Kiefer Sutherland who played Hamlet in the 1996 version. She was wrong again and again I corrected her mistake, saying that was Kenneth Branagh as well. Of course she didn't believe me and that led to the one dollar bet. If I was wrong, I would have to pay a dollar to my friend and vice versa. Obviously it's no big deal, but I was very sure I was right.

And I am! Checked out imdb.com and volia! "Kenneth Branagh as Hamlet".

I should have agreed on more money.
