Hell's bells, I've never worked so hard in my life! Three chapters fresh and posted in six days, and a fourth on the way... I feeeeel tiiiiired...

But's it's fun. I'm having such a blast with this, and at least now I've got the structure sorted - I know where everything's heading. Some folks seem to have already sussed who our grey-suited villain is, and that suits me fine - everyone else'll learn soon enough!

Someone commented that it feels like an episode, and that's good - I'm watching a lot of Firefly as I'm writing, to try and get a feel for the pace. The episodes cram a lot into 50 minutes, loads of character moments, dialogue, action, etc. Capturing that in narrative form is a challenge!

Back to the story now. Midnight oil? Check. DVD? Check. Work tomorrow? Nope. Hahahahaha...!
