It's been a week and I'm still...

At least it's not a conservative majority. This way, if Harper messes up, we can just call for a vote of non-confidence and have another election. Or, maybe he won't be able to pass a budget (which has happened before!), thus another election.

Anyway, we should start some sort of support group for those of us that need to know others of like mind exist. It's pretty damn lonely where I currently live.

I think you are feeling the same feeling that I felt the night that G.W. Bush was elected here in the states.

All I could think as I lay there trying to go to sleep, was that I and my children and all of my world and so many innocents just weren't safe anymore. I felt actual tangible fear.
I still feel it every day.

I am sorry your country has done this. And I hope they find out soon enough that it is a terrible mistake and that the good folks there can turn it around. I'm still waiting for that to happen here. I hope that day hurries for both of us.
