Alright, everyone remember that really heavy looking door that River pushed open when the three of them were running from the Blue Hands? If anyone else noticed, Jayne left it open when he and Simon passed through and it didn't look like closin' anytime soon. So how did it close?

And another thing, I thought it was funny that Mal grabbed Kaylee, spinned her around and hugged her from behind when he asked Simon if he got what he needed. Just a cutesy little thing I caught.

Anyone know what River said when she woke up? Another thing, you'd think someone would have seen the way that 3D image of River's brain changed so suddenly just before she screamed.

Yes. . .she said "Copper for a kiss" which might have been a reference to Jayne selling them out. . .BUT, I don't think River the CHARACTER knew it yet. . .I think that was just clever writing on the . . .writer's part.

And River DID say, "Your toes are in the sand." Because Jayne's immediate reply was to say "And your head's up your. . ." and was cut off.

River said "Copper for a kiss" when she woke up.

And I think that "Your toes are in the sand" line (which is what the subtitles say) is actually "You have a treasure in the sand."

'Your toes are in the sand'
that's another thing she says to Jayne

The closed captioning says something else but you can hear her say it

Most of those things have been noted at different times--especially on the "things you didn't notice the first time you watched" board. Door is really i think the only oversight on the show.

I can't remember exactly, but I think someone said that River's comment was "Coppers for kiss" or something and to Jayne -- oblique reference to him selling them out for money?
