COUNTDOWN: 9 DAYS TO SERENITY R2 DVD LAUNCH

Woop! Thought I'd share my joy with the world, as I've just placed a double order for the 2-disc R2&4 version of Serenity. I spotted a post on FFF recommending it, and decided to ship a couple in: one for me, one for my brown-coated buddy.

The one-discer is released here in the UK on 27th Feb, but this one 'should' be here before that, and contains all kinds of extra shininess. Roll on!

And I picked up a copy of DVD Monthly magazine yesterday. This mag always comes with a free cover disc, and this month's is chock-full of Serenity goodness - interview soundbites with Joss and the whole cast, b-roll footage, five featurettes, international trailer and six clips from the BDM... And it's FREE! UK Browncoats, take note!

Yeah! I just got it the other day. It's Shiny!

Loads of other film magazines have Serenity DVD reviews and Articles too!!!

SFX magazine (March issue) has an article with Nathan Fillion, a short interview with Adam Baldwin. The DVD is an SFX must buy!

and DVD monthly (March) says, "If you want to see a sequel, support the 'browncoat' alliance and buy this movie, your uncle Joss needs you." There's the dvd of interviews, documentaries and a b-roll, as wella s the international trailer. And an article called "Can't stop the signal" too!!

And Empire says, "Bring on Episode II.
Verdict:If you’re a novice, this is a plucky introduction to Whedon’s world and the most fun sci-fi of the year. If you’re a devotee, this is the magnificent return you’ve been praying for."

Hooray for enthusiastic film critics here in UK!!!! And Serenity won film of the year 2005 on the BBC's Film 2005 programme!!!! Squeeeeeeeeeeee!!
