I'm in the exact same boat M4P.... I had three lovely days over the weekend, I was rarin' to go on the next part of my story and.... nope (on the plus side, I did make a new t-shirt, but no on the fiction)
Of course, as soon as I got back to work, 1500 words in no time on monday, and more today... Work is the ONLY place I ever seem to be able to write... I could never be a professional writer, I wouldn't be able to avoid my job writing, by writing! LOL
regardless I'm sending happy thoughts to your boss so you won't get caught, and even shinier thoughts to you to speed you along in the sequel!
