Am I excited for Nathan? The sort of obligatory polite thing would be to say yes, of course. But truth be told, I think it sucks. :( Like him doing White Noise 2. What a waste! Which is what I also think of Joss doing Buffy (sorry, fans). I want our crew to do Serenity/Firefly! Yeah, closure. Good on him. And I mean it. But one man's closure is another person's wound. In the end, I can find solace, despite the pain, or rather, BECAUSE of the pain, as the hurt reminds me that what we miss was gorram sweet! Holding is hard, I know. :( And without fellow browncoats, like you, it would be ten times harder, even.

P.S. Just had to think of the outtakes of the pilot: God, what color's he flyin'? I guess we'll found out when we get more FireFly! :)

Thanks folks, for at least being on the same page as me. I'm still sad. I will have trouble getting used to the idea of a world with no more Mal, if that is what it comes to.

Ah... that's life.

And yea, MalNourished is gonna let me live, oldfogey, LOL. Kaele posted it over on the Appreciatin' Nathan thread too... I think it must have zipped past everyone. I was glad she didn't get in trouble for it. (Shhhh, let's not point it out.) I asked MalNourished if I could blog it, cuz we all tease each other and it was my turn, :).

Well, on these days where I find it so hard to be cheerful, I sure am grateful for friends. Thanks for the kind words.

Yeah. It's hard reading that stuff. Bittersweet. I'm SO happy for Nathan, and excited to see what he'll bring us next, but I don't think I'll ever get enough Mal.

That part of the interview bummed me out too. I'm really really glad he's achieved closure on what must have been a painful life experience for him, losing the chance to be Mal, but I surely haven't gotten over losing Firefly yet. Wanting Mal especially to come back and tell/be more stories. Life is depressing sometimes - what would we do without our Storytellers? He's one of the best. Nathan I mean, not Mal. Or something like that.
