I had a Mal dream last night. Not like THAT...those I keep quiet.

Mal, not Nathan, this was Mal, and I were having a moment. I was on the ship. It was one of those moments him and Inara never had. Looking into each others honest eyes, tears welling up. Both about to say things that have been built up for years. He looks at me very delibratley and takes off his boots.
He looks up at me with red-rimmed eyes, and he is about 5 feet tall.

I tell him I love him anyway.

I read to much fan fic.

Uh...I think our beloved captain is still above the 6-foot mark stocking-clad, Girlaskew, but I think I can see the deeper meaning here: the height change could represent a shift in emotional positions; Mal suddenly not being the imposing and commanding figure he needs to be as a starship captain, but a human with pain and needs.

Keep on dreaming, GA.....might have some more Cap'n Tighpants revelations;)

oh gawd! I think I'm scarily shallow - would soooo dump Malcolm if I disdcovered he was shorter than me ... somehow he just wouldn't be brooding and hot anymore ...
