After umpteen cover roughs and four finished Angel covers the Guys at IDW are harboring doubts as to if they'll fit in with what they're trying to do..Well I've done my best and most detailed work on the finished covers..I can't do any better... so now it's up to IDW..The Sulaco studio guys are trying to convince them but it doesn't look too good...In fact I was told not to produce anymore covers untill further notice

So keep what ever crossed you guys cross and hope IDW gives me chance..I'm not going out this time without a fight...

On the plus side I was offered a pinup in the european edition of the serenity tpb..I'll just have to wow them even more... Thanks for the support guys and I've got some cool drawings to post here if the deal does fall through...

(ps..can some one tell me what 17 x 24 ccm is in inches)

I too am crossing anything able to be crossed. I have fingers, toes, eyes, arms, and legs, though it is a bit hard to walk around like this.
Your work is amazing and they would be HUGE FOOLS to say no.

Ugh....sorry to hear about the setback. I'll keep my fingers tightly crossed that they approve them.

That is really cool that you get to do art for the TPB.....let us all know when it gets published, and I'll certainly buy a copy...even though I'm in the US and already own a copy, I couldn't pass up one with your art in it.

They be fools if they reject your work, M. Maybe you should try a different angle of attack...like getting the artwork to Joss or our BDHs agents. Having them say "We won't green light the use of our likenesses unless you get him" might go along way....:)

hey it did help thanks for the link ..I was scratching my head there for a while...also think I'm gonna submit some of my comic book inkwork to IDW direct...they may not need a cover artist but they might need a penciler/inker...
