What with the steady influx of new recruits... Thought it'd be neat to see a running total on the home page of how many total members + how many new each day or week... Guess this goes out to the sys-admin, Haken I conjure?

I agree about a member counter. Always good to know how many of us bothered to sign up. Every now and then someone runs a post listing how many members there are. Not quite sure how they are getting that info. Except for the guy running this site that is.

Well...there is a counter at the top right hand corner of the homepage, but it has been counting the number visitors since Firefly presumably went into production back in Spring '02.

Having a counter for specific visitors (i.e. guests and newbies) could be cool to see, if plausible code-wise:)
