Been a while
Thursday, April 13, 2006

Okay, so its been a really, really, really long time since I have been on this website, let alone wrote a blog. What brought me back, you ask? Well I'll tell you.

I watch "Slither" the other weekend. I'm not ashamed to admit that the sole reason I went to see it was because of Fillion. Honestly, that man...My last birthday I held my breath and prayed fervently that he would become the father of at least one of my future children. Then I blew the candles out. I know that many of you just rolled your eyes, but I haven't gone stalkerish or anything. Its not like you'll find me riding around in his car claiming to be his wife (remember when that happened to David Letterman?).

Anyway, on with the story. So I went to see "Slither" and I loved it, because I am the type of girl that likes movies to be grotesque and over-the-top. Particularly if its Troma-esque.

After watching the movie, I got a jones to see more Fillion so I started watching Firefly all over again. I was watching the pilot and I got all sad about Wash and his dinosaurs when I started to think about Serenity (the movie not the ship). This brings me to my point, and not a moment too soon.

Has anyone out there heard anything about an upcoming Serentiy sequel? I know its early, but I kind of miss having something to look forward to. And we browncoats are known for our unfailing patience.

BTW-if this topic has already been covered-sorry-I told you I've been out of it for a while.

Well, no news. The occasional suspect rumor, but no news on a sequel. But that's not why I'm commenting.

It was your birthday wish.

Anyone with a birthday wish like that needs to join the "Appreciatin' Nathan" crew at serenitymovie.org. We have our own sub-forum (Mal's Bunk) where no one rolls their eyes and everyone went to see SLiTHER just for Nathan.
