Hurray! The semester is over... sort of

Well, today was BSD at my university and that can only mean one thing: classes are done for the winter semester. And for the curious, BSD stands for Bermuda Shorts Day; tradition is you dress in beach wear, preferably Bermuda shorts, and get rip-roaringly drunk at the beer gardens (Now 20% bigger this year!). I suppose the two phrases "Bermuda Shorts" and "winter semester" really don't go together, but that's what happens in Canadian universities.

I'm just glad classes are over; now I can get some sleep. This was the first semester that I worked and went to school so I'm a little sleepy, to say the least. Only problem is, I have three final exams this time around. I miss that one semester of mine when I didn't have any. That semester rocked. So while classes are done, the cramming begins. I'm writing this when I should be finishing off my philosophy paper, but I got to allow myself some procrastination; it's the right of any student.

But after I'm done BSing my way through my final exam/essays, my summer is free for me to do nothing. Well, not really nothing. I'll still go to work, but there won't be the pressure of having to get school work done. Maybe once my exams are done, I'll have a Firefly marathon. Yeah, I like the sound of that...

What uni are you at Ness, cuz we Golden Gaels (aka students of Queen's University at Kingston) have been done for a week;)

Still...all hail end of term! Just wish I could chill more, but I work in rez as student staff....gotta love riding herd over drunk and mental frosh
