Well, I was at the comic shop near where I live, and I saw something with pirate ships on it. Naturally, my interest was piqued. They looked like little packs of cards, like you would expect some sort of booster pack to look like. I bought a pack, came home, opened it, and to my surprise, I find some plastic cards with pieces of ships cut out of them. It's a game, like a board game without the board. It's called Pirates of the Spanish Main, and in every litle pack, you get some ships, treasure, crew, etc, and that's all you really need to play. It's very addictive. I actually hadn't even turned on my computer until sometime around 2:00. w00t! toys! and it's cheap! around $4 per pack. (I have around 50 ships now. There goes that new sound card I wanted. ;P)

Got some buddies who swear by that. But like the card games it emulates beware of the constant upgrade factor. I believe they have already gone to a bunch of other packs, such as Pirates of the Revolution, Barbary Coast, etc. But everyone's gotta have a couple of bad habits and it could be worse!
