I've devoured the M/I stuff at FF.net. The problem I found with selecting just M & I characters was I missed some good stories because they weren't listed as the main characters. So now I'm slowly trolling through each story there searching for gems. ;)

I think I've read everything over at If's and Maybe's too http://community.livejournal.com/mal_inara/. I like Zoe/Wash, Kaylee/Simon, and even a Rayne story on the occassion, but look for mostly M/I. I have a huge angst fettish. As long as there is a good payoff in there somewhere, break my heart to your hearts content! ;)

The only author on it who you may not have read is Tara O'Shea (at least, I think that was her name). She's fairly good, though not one of my favorites. Also, if you're willing to comb through the recommendtions for a picky reader thread, I think there are a few stories (Mal, Inara, M/I, or otherwise) that aren't linked anywhere else. A Inara/Jayne freindship/interaction story comes to mind.

Here's a list of my favorite authors that write M/I stories that I can think of off the top of my head, Kaynara, 2X2, Goldy, Hawkmoth, Phaedra, Leiasky, Bookishtype, xSweetSerenityx, and Arcadia. I think I may have missed a few who's names I can't remember at this moment, and there are others that post on LJ's and I'm not sure if they post here under different names or not.

Lemme know if I missed anbody, I'm always looking for new stuff to read. And thanks for the story rec, going to check it out now. :)

Hi! That is so me too. I always fall in love with a show after everyone else, and I didn't find Firefly until after it was off the air. I bought the DVD's and the movie and was so happy to find this site. I started posting a little fanfic a while back, I write a little M/I,and check out 2x2's stuff and an older story called Enumeration is one of my faves( Can't remember who wrote it!)
