Nearing The Finish
Wednesday, May 3, 2006 10:32 AM
So, I've turned in the two projects I've been slaving over this past month. All I've got left are two finals...which are basically just unit exams instead of those cumulative beasts--thank God. Unfortunately all that occurs NEXT week.In the meanwhile, I'm absolutely burnt out. This is largely in part due to the University of Hawaii at Manoa having one of the longest--if not not THE longest (back in '93, we did--semester of all the universities. I am gonna be so grateful for summer. So, so, SO grateful...
Until my brain reboots, I'm busy killing zombies in Resident Evil 4, which is ironic because I feel like a zombie at the moment.
Just two more semesters until I get that piece of paper that says I'm an expert at both the English language and literature...which is ridiculous because NO ONE can be an expert in that convoluted mess...
Summing everything up...my second season of Firefly is still on hiatus for the time being...

Ummmm, Geek? I know you're burned out and all, but longest what? Now I gotta know! Other than that, glad you're nearing the end! Hopefully that means more fanfic?! Good Luck!

Hey Geek. Stick it out. It's always hectic at uni at this time of year. I have two papers due. A lab book to write up and submit and then end of year exams in a couple of weeks. Plus... the faculty keep threatening to strike and some of them are refusing to tell the university the grades from the marked papers under the title 'action short of a strike'.
Oops... didn't mean to rant. Good luck with your finals, I'm sure you'll do great!

sweetserendipity: Oops. Longest semester, I meant to put. Fixed it though. I think our semesters are like 17-18 weeks... But yes, the end of the semester will mean more fanfics.
That's what happens when I write a log at like 1230 when I'm burnt out.
Tayeatra: Ohhh a faculty strike. I've been through one strike my freshman year, and then the faculty threatened to strike again like my junior year. That's not cool they're doing that near the end of the semester though. What about people graduating?
