What a freakin' week! My wife went to the emergency room on Tuesday, and is still in the hospital with a kidney infection that has also gotten into her blood, and now my kids have a stomach flu they picked up from the folks that watched them while I was in the ER with my wife!

Heavy Sigh...

The whole kidney infection thing was really nasty. My wife had a temp of 104.8 when the paramedics showed up, and her blood pressure was as low as 78/38 after 12 hours of fluids, etc. Scared the crap out of me!

Serenity Now! Yeah, I know that has a whole different meaning on this site, but still!

I'm constantly reminded that life is what happens to you while you're making other plans.

My most sincere thanks to all of you. I admit it - some sympathy is a good thing when the world conspires against you :)

As ServantofKushiel said, next week should be better, right?

Of course, the line playing in my head says: "Could be worse... Could be raining..."
