Once More With (Firefly) Feeling

okay, so...I had a little idea creep into my head and I was wondering whether it could work. To explain:

I found my sister’s Once More with Feeling CD and sort of...made off with it, I suppose you could say. After secretly listening to it about a GAZILLION times, I realised that several of the songs reminded me of Firefly , as just about everything does these days (seriously, even my chemistry paper). Then I started thinking, “what about a Firefly/Once More... cross-over?” and I wanted to know what people thought.

I guess the only logical thing to say now is, what do you think? Am I crazy? Am I dreamin’? Am I marryin’ a demon? Oops, got carried away...

It could work.

You know, it's weird, but there's a fanvid out there that's really well done to "Walk Through The Fire", but in the Veronica Mars fandom...

And I would have thought that song would be too Buffy/Jossverrse referential -really- to work in something else.

But it fits, and it does it so perfectly.

If it can work for Veronica Mars, it can work for Firefly.

Great idea, Bellona! Always wondered what Joss would have come up with for Firefly's "unique" episode, when he did a musical for Buffy (the aforementioned 'Once More With Feeling') and the hero-as-a-Muppet (Angel's 'Smile Time').

Having a cross-over - if only of themes - would be great!

The thought has crossed my mind since that episode is my very favourite buffy episode. Hard to make it work in the storyline, but on the other hand theres always the possibility of making a stand-alone type show
