You and yours are in our hearts and we wish ya all the best in this. You will get through this cuz you are in the right; it is sad that you have to go through all this to simply get to square one of a new life that can be built on. But remember....Mal and Zoe were in this position once and they came out OK. It took time, and perserverence, and being just sheer pig-headed. The same will be said of you in time.

You take all the time you need to get these issues all sorted out, and then come back with you tales of triumph so that we may raise an alcoholic beverage to your success and bond over life's speedbumps:D

I've been in a similar situation too. Take a deep breath and tackle each one by one.

First of all, the school-get documentation from the doc and send a note to the school (and keep copies) each time darling son you even thinks about getting sick. Let the school know about his medical problems too. Contact the person in charge of exceptional children-they can help explain the law, Federal and State that your son may come under.

As for the house, contact whoeever has the mortgage yesterday. Explain the situation.
