Will someone please write a romance-themed fanfic that isn't porn? Or an attempt to hook everyone up so they can put sex in the story? It's getting kind of old, and there are probably underage browncoats on this site who really don't need to be exposed to it.

Well...if Joss didn't exactly skimp on the tasteful sex scenes, don't really see why we should. As long as ratings and warnings are given to ensure people are informed of possibly offensive content, everything's possible if you ask me;)

Just an FYI...

Technically, "slash" refers to same-sex pairings (e.g. Jayne/Simon), and may or may not be pornographic in nature. But, I get your point. The less graphic romances are likely categorised under "general" or "drama", rather than "romance" (at least on this site).

And if anyone's parents or bosses see them reading it, I don't think the results would be pretty.
Honestly, it isn't bad making Mal and Inara a couple, or Simon and Kaylee. Even Kaylee and Inara isn't improbable. But Jayne and Kaylee??? No way. And especially not River and Jayne.
Honestly I'd a sex-free romance myself, but it would probably suck. Everyone who has written romances, they were great, but censor them a little, please.
