Okay so I'm still convinced that some people are complete idiots. It was proven to me today, but I'm trying to get over that fact.

I live in the middle of nowhere in Indiana and I know there are others here that love firefly as much as I do. The problem is, where are they? Sometimes I feel alone because I really only have my husband who loves firefly to talk to. Okay so maybe that isn't bad, but sometimes I want to hear others ideas. It would be nice to meet others in my area who love firefly too.

I was just thinking outloud I guess. I'm glad that everyone is here for me to ramble on to.

Me too. No Firefly fans close to me.

There was a fan on this site who lived within an hour of me, but they quit coming and that was that. :(

I guess we all need to do what so many folks have done where they are and that's start up a local Browncoat group.
Wait.. have you checked the Yahoo groups.. all the ones that are local? To make sure there isn't one fairly close to you?

I totally know how you feel. I live in Alaska and coming across fellow Browncoats is a big damn mission.

I've found 3 people so far but I dont think they are into it as I am. My husband likes the show but he thinks that i've gone absolutely "geek" when it comes to Firefly.

Soon we'll be moving to New Mexico and I'm sure I'll have the same problem there too.

Dont feel bad i think that i feel the same way too, i really dont know anyone else where i live eaither that knows anything about it. My buddy knows the name of the show but it is not like he is a fan or anything so yeha i would have to say i feel your pain on that one.
