Sad news gang..fridays little lightning we had show decided to hit and set fire to one of the buildings I work at..we managed to get all the elderly folk out without injury or mishap, but the building's a total loss..(to the tune of 2.6 million dollars...) so needless to say I've been pretty busy of late...we isolated that building and got power and water to the rest of the property so that's a plus...

watching someone who's lived a lifetime pick through their trashed, burnt memories is not my idea of a fun time.....

so moral of the story in two words...renters insurance..that's it for now...gotta get some sleep...

Oh, that is so sad. The idea of a house fire horrifies me, one of my biggest fears. I carry renter's insurance even when I'm broke (and hope to God the insurance company comes through if it ever happens). But even with insurance, there are things that cannot be replaced. That is horribly sad.....a whole building :(
